A path to healing is always possible, says Asher Beckwitt. As both a trauma coach and a sexual abuse survivor, she understands that each journey to healing is an individual one.

Asher’s own journey began with years of talk therapy, which laid the foundation for healing. However, it was the introduction of EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy that marked a significant turning point. This innovative therapy helped Asher neutralize the trauma, allowing her to recall past experiences from a place of neutrality rather than reactivity. EMDR, coupled with somatic healing practices, enabled Asher to reconnect with their body and release stored trauma energy.

This podcast goes beyond sexual abuse and offers a broad base of possible healing modalities and requirements, ranging from safe places to meditations and beyond. This is a story for everyone who has experienced some sort of trauma-and isn’t that all of us?
